Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By using ViewLocal's website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms form a contract between you and ViewLocal Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. The Service
ViewLocal facilitates property viewings by connecting customers with independent local viewers. We are an intermediary — we do not own, manage, or endorse any property. Our viewers provide independent observations; their reports do not constitute professional property surveys, valuations, or legal advice.
3. Bookings and Payment
Bookings are confirmed on receipt of payment via Stripe. Prices are as stated at the time of booking and include VAT where applicable. A booking confirmation email is your receipt.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled viewing will receive a full refund, less a £5 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the viewing are non-refundable. If the viewing is cancelled by the estate agent or vendor, you will receive a full refund or rebook at no charge.
5. Our Viewers
Viewers are independent contractors, not employees of ViewLocal. We vet and DBS-check all viewers and require them to comply with our Professional Conduct Policy, but we do not accept liability for individual viewer conduct beyond what is required by law.
6. Limitations of Liability
ViewLocal's liability to you in connection with any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of the service or reliance on a viewing report. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not use the platform to submit false bookings, harass viewers, or access properties under false pretences. Breach of this clause may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the ViewLocal website and in our reports is owned by ViewLocal Ltd or its viewers. You may use your viewing report for personal or business decision-making purposes only. You may not reproduce, publish, or resell report content without our written consent.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of material changes via the email address on your account. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
